A portrait of a Pallas's cat (manul) which always seems in a bad mood!
The Pallas's cat (or Manul) is native of Central Asia where it can be found at elevations up to 16,000 ft. They are roughly the size of a domestic cat and their stocky posture with short legs combined with a dense and long fur gives them a unique stout and plush appearance. Their shortened face and ears set very low and wide apart give them a flattened, and quite often, grumpy look. As most wild cats, they rae threatened by habitat degradation, hunting and prey base decline.
Framed and ready to hang.
Created with the finest professional archival materials (Liquitex Professional Heavy Body acrylics on Arches 140 lb 100% cotton watercolor paper) and sprayed with acrylic UV varnish to protect the surface and to increase the longevity of the artwork. Acrylics paintings are meant to have a long life, with reasonable care yours can be treasured for generations!
Watermarks do not appear on the actual artwork, they are just here to protect Morgane's images which, unfortunately, are frequently stolen or used without permission. Thank you for your understanding.
