A black jaguar in the shadows.
The jaguar is a big cat native to the Americas and thought is closely resembles the leopard with its spots, it is much sturdier and larger with a compact and well-muscled body. A near-black melanistic form occurs regularly and while the cat may appear entirely black, their spots are still visible under the light.
