Wet on Dry is a small-scale hyperrealistic wildlife painting of two river otters resting together on a fallen trunk above bubbling water. Their playful closeness contrasts with the lively movement of the river below, creating a scene full of balance, warmth, and quiet humor. The title plays with the language of watercolor technique, while the work itself is built in acrylic through careful layers and luminous detail. This original miniature artwork celebrates companionship, curiosity, and the joyful rhythm of life along the water’s edge.
