Two snow leopards are contemplating prayer flags flying in the Himalayan cold mountain wind. Snow leopards live in the mountains of Central Asia, including the Himalayas, in high alpine areas, mostly above the tree line and up to 18,000 feet in elevation. With only 4000-6000 snow leopards surviving in one of the harshest environment and heavily threatened by poaching, loss of habitat and conflict with men, will a prayer be enough to save theses iconic cats?
Thanks to Tequila for the beautiful reference shot of the cats.
