A bobcat kitten chilling out in a tree.

It was a hot summer day and this young bobcat was pestered by all sorts of bugs (not counting the photographers!) so she climbed a huge linden tree to get some respite. Hidden among the leaves and with a cool breeze driving away most of the flies, she finally settled on what seemed a precarious position but turned out to be comfortable enough for her to take a nap. The perfect summer retreat!

Created with the finest professional archival materials (Liquitex Professional Heavy and Soft Body acrylics on masonite panel) and sprayed with acrylic UV varnish to protect the surface and to increase the longevity of the artwork. When choosing the perfect spot to hang your painting, keep in mind that it needs to be away from any heat source, in a place of relatively stable and reasonable humidity and not in direct sunlight.
