A timberwolf howling in the forest.
Gray wolves howl to assemble the pack for the hunt, to raise the alarm, to locate each other and to communicate across great distances. Each wolf has a unique voice and way of singing and when howling together, wolves harmonize rather than chorus on the same note, thus creating the illusion of a larger pack than reality.
