Portrait of a regal lookingl Amur tiger.
The Siberian tiger is considered to be the largest tiger with a massive skull similar to that of a lion, a body length with tail between 2.7 and 3.8m and a weight between 180 and 350 kg for the males (females are smaller and lighter). Siberian tigers are threatened by heavy poaching for their skin and parts, loss of habitat and the lack of genetic diversity.
