Two springboks fighting in clouds of dust.
During the rut, male springboks fight for territory dominion and access to females. Although these antelopes are quite light with an average weight of 35 kg, they are ferocious contenders and will furiously lock horns to twist and lever their opponent, often resulting in stabbing wounds and other injuries.
