Despite being classified as a carnivoran, the giant panda's diet is composed of 99% bamboo, up to 20kg a day. A "thumb" in addition to their 5 fingers allows pandas to grab and hold bamboo stems, spending up to 14 hours a day chewing on them because of their inability to digest cellulose.

Created with the finest professional archival materials (Liquitex Professional Heavy Body acrylics on Arches 140 lb 100% cotton watercolor paper) and sprayed with acrylic UV varnish to protect the surface and to increase the longevity of the artwork.
