A unique piece of art that suits your taste & desires

Commissioned artworks are custom pieces made from your pictures or ideas that suit your taste and desires, be it your beloved pet in her prefered spot, your favorite species in all its glory or the remnants of a dream you'd like to bring to life. Aside from her current exhibitions, Morgane is always happy to put her talents to use for art lovers wishing to order their very own piece or art. Depending on what you would like and how clear your vision is, Morgane can work in 3 different manners with you.

Commissions from photos

You have your own pictures of the subject

Morgane will work from the photos (for which you must hold the copyright). She may guide you in your choice if you want something that really differs from the original shots.

Commissions from precise ideas

You have precise ideas but no reference photos

Morgane will help you put your words into images through sketches drawn upon your comments and vision. She also have access to a large library of reference photos if needed.

Commissions from themes

You just have a theme in mind, but nothing precise

Morgane will work with a lot of freedom to surprise you with her own vision of your chosen subject. This is a good option if you would like something you can’t find in the artist’s gallery.

A simple process for a delightful artistic journey

Depending on the kind of commission wanted, a selection of good, clear, close up photographs is required. Pictures at eye level with the subject and facing slightly off centre from the lens of the camera are better. They can either be sent by mail (and will be returned with the artwork) or emailed as a file. If unsure of the quality of the photo, please email them to Morgane for feedback.

Once a set of pictures/theme has been chosen, contact Morgane with instructions and specific requirements, including as much information and details as possible (such as the size, the number and framing of subjects, the background complexity and overall level of detail, elements to add or remove etc.).

If this is your first time commissioning a painting, it can be a bit overwhelming or intimidating. So if you are unsure of what you want or how to proceed, no worries! Morgane is always available to guide you through this artistic journey. At this point you will be able to discuss every option and and ask all the questions you want to clarify everything - no strings attached - so don't be shy!

Commissioned artworks are priced on individual basis, depending on variables defined by the customer. Prices start at $350 for a 5"x7" piece, miniatures at $500 for a 2"x2". A final quotation (with no obligation) will be sent to you at the end of the customization process along with an estimated timescale for the realization. Layaway plans are available on demand.

Upon your approval, a contract will be sent to you. A non-refundable 50 % deposit is required once an order has been made to secure your spot. You can pay online with credit/debit card or bank account through PayPal. Gift certificates are also available if you would like to spoil a loved one!

If your commission needs to be ready by a specific date such as Christmas or an anniversary, do not wait for the last minute to order as Morgane is usually fully booked months (if not years) in advance!

Morgane will send you regular updates for all the creation steps of your painting so you can see the progress. You will be able to request (reasonable) changes until you are completely satisfied with your piece!

The balance of the cost of the commission is due on completion and approval of the painting. Shipping and handling fees will be charged in addition depending on the destination and chosen carrier.

The artwork will be sent unframed (unless previously discussed - at additional cost), securely packaged and insured. It usually takes less than two weeks to arrive on destination. And voila, you are now the owner of a unique and precious piece of art that will be treasured for generations!
